info@mallalieu.com.auHow to measure yourself
Use a soft tape measure, keeping it level and comfortably close to your body without pulling it tight.
1 · Bust
Around the fullest part of your bust.
2 · Waist
Around your natural waist.
3 · Hips
Around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
4 · Body inside leg
From your crotch down the inside of your leg to your ankle bone, without shoes.
Comparing garment measurements
Where product measurements are supplied, compare them with a similar garment you already like wearing.
For trousers, lay your pair flat and measure along the inside-leg seam from the crotch join to the hem. Follow the seam if it curves. This is the garment’s inseam, rather than your body’s inside leg.
For barrel pants, also consider the rise and intended cropped or full-length finish. A lower crotch changes where the inseam starts.
